Every team has their eyes set on next season, goals have been drawn and Pellegrini’s goal is to bring the PL trophy back to the Etihad.
The citizens were champions last season, but failed to mirror that achievement as Chelsea beat them to the punch.
City manager, Manuel Pellegrini has vowed though to win the league with City next season.
“I am sure we are going to return stronger next season and that we are going to recover the title to the Etihad,” he told the Manchester Evening News .
“The same way that our stadium is growing with the new stand, I think the club completely will grow. There are a lot of important things in our project that we must try to improve every year.
“I always have communication every week with the owners. I know exactly what they think – they know what I think also.
“Every day, we are talking with technical director Txiki Begiristain and chief executive Ferran Soriano – so we will see which is the best way to try to improve our squad and try to recover the title.
“I think every team needs change every year. Maybe I would tell you exactly the same if we won the title again.
“That we must make some changes, that we will see which are the players that must go and which players will come.”
