Former Real Madrid man, Alvaro Morata came back to hunt Real Madrid as his new side, Juventus beat the reigning European champions to book a place in Berlin for their first Champions league final appearance since 2003.

Real Madrid were on the ascendancy in the first half and looked to get ahead in the tie and they did in the 23rd minute when Ronaldo stepped up to the penalty spot and beat Buffon, sending the ball right down the middle after Chiellini had brought down Rodriguez in the box. Real Madrid continued to dominate in the second half but when Sergio Ramos gave away a foul in the 53rd minute,Pirlo floated the ball in and it was cleared by Casillas before Marchisio returned the ball and Pogba won the header, and it landed at the feet of Alvaro Morata who fired the ball home to give Juventus a 3-2 lead in the tie. Juventus held on against the full might of the Real Madrid attack and claimed a deserved victory.

There would be no El Grand Classico in the UEFA Champions league final but the result means that both Juventus and Barcelona have a chance of winning the treble this season.
