I’ll Manage Liverpool: Ancelotti

Carlo Ancelotti wants EPL return

Despite finishing the season without a trophy and getting fired from his job at Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti is still one of the most in demand managers in the world. He is after all the man that captured La Decima for Real Madrid after winning two UEFA champions league titles with AC Milan.

Ancelotti had earlier stated that he would proceed on a one year sabbatical before returning to football but sources close to the former Chelsea manager claim that he has been saying that if Liverpool offered him a job, he would take it immediately. Ancelotti lost to Liverpool as manager of AC Milan in 2005 at Istanbul one the night when Liverpool came from 3 goals behind to seal a victory on penalties. Ancelotti got his revenge in 2007 as his side picked up a 2-1 win. Ancelotti has remained an admirer of Liverpool and would love to move there.

This would be music to the ears of the Liverpool board and fans alike as both parties are currently unsure about Brendan Rodgers being the right man to take Liverpool forward
