FRSC Set To Conduct Drivers’ License Verification Nationwide

The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Deputy Corp Marshal, Mr. Charles Theophilus, has revealed that the commission will soon be conducting a nationwide drivers’ license verification.


This was made known during a one day capacity building seminar organised for the South-East FRSC staff in the driver’s license centre in Enugu.

Theophilus said “We will commence verification of licence very soon to see if the licence obtained is actually produced by the FRSC, Vehicle Inspection Office and Board of Internal Revenue.

“It is a tripartite arrangement to find out if a person went elsewhere to obtain his or her driver’s licence.”

The Deputy Corp Marshal, further disclosed that the staff of the FRSC would be on road to carry out the verification exercise using the verification portal that been created by the commission.

He urged the public to make sure they acquire certified driving knowledge before license collection.
