Real Madrid goalkeeper, Iker Casillas has welcomed Madrid’s interest in fellow compatriot, David de Gea and feels the club should sign him.
Casillas has been under heavy criticism after making a number of mistakes. There is growing speculation that Madrid are looking to show him the door and bring in de Gea as his replacement.
Despite the interest in the united goalkeeper, Casillas is eager to see the goalkeeper at Madrid and is confident he will still remain at Madrid.
Indeed, when asked by reporters if he would like to see De Gea arrive from Old Trafford, the Blancos skipper stated: “Of course I would.”
However, when asked if he would be at the Bernabeu himself next season, a defiant Casillas added: “Yes, I will be [at Real Madrid next season].”
