Boateng debunks Schweinsteiger's claims: Star says Bayern is bigger team

After winning the league, Bayern lost to Borussia Dortmund three days later in the DFB Pokal and they have struggled since, winning only one of the four matches they have competed in since, the great but ultimately ineffective 3-2 win over Barcelona in the UEFA Champions league.

Boateng was speaking to reports about Bayern Munich’s downward spiral in recent weeks and the player talked about the perilous schedule in the closing stages of the season as well as the injuries. “We are no longer moving so quickly,”Boateng told Kicker. “It started against Dortmund and kept going. We now have one game left and we want to be get a positive result from it.”

Bayern Would be looking to finish the season strongly and build for next season. Despite winning the Bundesliga, a few Bayern Munich players would be desperate to put this injury ridden season behind them and focus on next season
