#XenophobicSA: Violence Breaks Out In South Africa As Black Foreigners Are Attacked [GRAPHIC PHOTOS]

share on:

At least 5 people have been killed in an outbreak of xenophobic violence in South Africa.

The violence reportedly began after reported comments by Zulu King Goodwill Zwelithini, an influential figure among the Zulu ethnic group, that foreigners should “pack their bags” and leave.

Zwelithini has however begged for an end to the violence.

Malawi’s information minister, Kondwani Nankhumwa, has stated that the country is already looking to move its citizens out of South Africa.

“Most of them fled with literally nothing to safe camps,” the minister said. “The numbers will swell since some Malawians are in hiding.”

  1. Aiee! South Africa, Aiee! Please. What demons have possessed your souls? How is this even possible? Why would you do this to people even if you do not like them, hate them, are jealous of them, are contemptuous of them for even existing. Why, South Africa? Is this all that you are, beneath the flash and mask and great dramatic gestures? Is it only this that you are? Do you understand the shame that every black person feels when they have to explain to non-black persons why Africans (even if your deny that you are not) would do this to other Africans? Do you even understand what happens when the image of your jealous furies and fires are broadcast all over the world. Do you realise that even if you superimpose Table Mountain pictures on top of this, the horror and the stain does not go away? Of all things in the world, you have now created a new narrative written in deaths: It is titled, ‘Afrophobia’. A uniquely South African condition. Right now, South Africa, because of you, I walk with my eyes lowered lest another white stranger comes up to me and ask, “Hey, African, whats up with South Africa, man?”

  2. During the apartheid regime, all Africans stood together against the excesses of the Afrikaans. Today, you have been liberated and you are fighting against those who stood with you. Your actions today tell the world that black South Africans are living in the Animal Kingdom where any animal can attack another freely. South Africans, wake up for you are human and behave like human. The world is watching you. You have damaged the reputation of the entire black race. Shame on you South Africa.
