Manchester United striker Robin van Persie is set to make another appearance for the club’s Under-21s side in their trip to Fulham tomorrow as he looks to get back to full fitness and sharpness before the end of the season.

The former Arsenal forward suffered an ankle injury against Swansea City in February and was ruled out for around two months. He returned to action playing for the Under 21s in last clashe with Leicester City, where he provided an assist for Sean Goss’ equalizer as the match ended 1-1. Van Persie then made a 2 minute cameo in Manchester United’s 3-0 loss to Everton on Sunday, coming on in the closing stages of the match for Rooney, making his first appearance for the senior squad since February.
The 31-year-old will be joined by the likes of Adnan Januzaj and Tyler Blackett, who have somewhat fallen in the pecking order at Old Trafford
