At the start of the season, Tottenham were considering loaning him out to a championship side for him to gain experience. Adebayor’s lack of form forced Spurs to keep him ad Defoe left the club. 20 premier league goals later as well as another 10 in other competitions, Tottenham would be very happy they chose to keep Harry Kane who last night picked up the award for young player of the year from the PFA and deserved the accolade.

Tottenham have rode on the back of Harry Kane this season, everyone would remember Kane for his match winning performances against Chelsea and Arsenal this season, but that is just a shred if what this powerful 19 year old is all about. An eye for goals and the pass, a never say die attitude and the confidence of a seasoned international. All these characteristics have helped Kane amass 20 goals in the premier league and 30 in all competitions.

Kane would be delighted with his performances this season but would still be hoping he can lead Spurs to a top four finish this season
