After giving up on one Manchester United goalkeeper, Real Madrid have turned to another Manchester United goalkeeper as a possible replacement for Casillas, former Barcelona shot stopper, Victor Valdes.
Valdes joined Manchester United in January on an 18 month contract but Real Madrid could make a move to buy the goalkeeper in the summer as he is yet to make one senior appearance for the red devils. Valdes was keen on a return to Spain last year after training with Manchester United for a while but he finally opted to stick with his former boss, Louis Van Gaal at Manchester United and he could yet join Real Madrid in the summer.
Real Madrid are yet to make an official bid. But Victor’s dislike for Real and his evident loyalty to Barcelona might stop him from joining the reigning European champions.
