#NigeriaDecides: Violence Ends Today’s Poll In Ondo

In parts of Ilaje, Ugbo aand others; the Independent National Electoral Commission has annulled the House of Assembly polls following series of violent activities.


The violence disrupted activities in around 22 Polling Units, INEC officials reveal.


The officials say some armed thugs confiscated ballot boxes belonging to several PUs in Ayetoro, Ugbo, Ilepete, Ute Ward 12 and in Ote consistuency; leading to a halt in voting activities.


Following this, the Regional Electoral Commissioner in the state, Olusegun Agbaje, has said the elections would be rescheduled, especially in the affected parts of the state.
