Jordan Henderson is set to end months of speculation as he prepares to sign a new deal with Liverpool which would keep him at the club until 2019.
Henderson who has been linked with moves away from Liverpool in recent weeks has remained silent about his future but sources close to the Liverpool assistant captain claim that negotiations concerning a contract extension at Liverpool are rounding up as Henderson is set to receive a pay raise that would see him start earning 100,000 pounds on a weekly basis. Henderson has played most of this season as captain of Liverpool as Gerrard has been out with injuries and most recently a suspension. Henderson has been impressive for Liverpool this season and deserves a good contract offer as he is set to take over as captain when Gerrard departs in the summer.
Henderson is still yet to sign the contract extension so, he could still very well leave Liverpool in the summer so our fingers remain crossed.
