Yusuf Suleman will spend time in prison to the tune of 8 months or pay a fine of N40,000 for hurling stones at Hajiya Baraka Sani, Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on Agriculture, as she went to her Giginyu polling unit to cast her vote at the last general election.

He was reportedly sent away by some aggrieved persons who were timely enough and helped forestall what might have resulted in major political violence.

Baraka Sani and her younger sister, after escaping the scene with a few wounds, returned with security operatives to cast their votes.

Events have since taken a new shape with the court, presided over by Ibrahim Khalil Muhammad nailing Yusuf on a three count charge of incitement, assault and disturbance of public peace by assaulting Hajiya Baraka Sani.
