Pep Guardiola, manager of Bayern Munich has admitted that their 2014-15 season will only be crowned a success if they win the treble.

Bayern Munich are on the verge of winning the Bundesliga again, which will make it back-to-back title win for the Bavarian club.

Though the German giants are in the semifinals of the DFB Pokal, they might just get eliminated from the champions league by Porto. They lost by 3-1 at Portugal, a mountain for them to climb out of really.

“I know at which club I am working. I am well aware of the expectations at a club like Bayern,” Guardiola was quoted as saying by Bild.

“I know that winning the Bundesliga title will not be enough. I also know that winning the DFB Pokal on top of that will not be enough.

“Because this is Bayern Munich. Only the treble will suffice at this stage.”

Bayern last won the treble under Jupp Heynckes in 2012-13, when they beat Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in the Champions League final. Let’s see if the former Barcelona boss can mirror this accomplishment.
