Fast & Furious 7 Opens Very Fast At Box Office

Fast & Furious 7 opened way big at the cinemas, with film lovers flocking to watch  Paul Walker’s last movie.

Furious 7 earned $143.6 million at North American theaters over the weekend and hauled in another $240.4 million around the world, according to The Hollywood Reporter, making for a huge $384 million total and the fourth-highest opening ever.

The film was originally set to be released in July 2014, but Paul Walker’s death in a car accident in November 2013 halted shooting.

The franchise is Universal’s most successful, and the company is said to be planning 3 more installments.
