As YouTube Clocks 10 Years Old Today, We Celebrate It By Watching These Videos

10 years ago today, the first ever video was uploaded on Youtube. And since the 23rd of April, 2005 till date, the website has grown tremendously ranking No 3 on Alexa worldwide ranking.

YouTube was founded by Chad Hurley,Steve Chen, and Jawed Karim, who were all early employees of PayPal.

The first YouTube video, titled Me at the zoo, shows co-founder Jawed Karim at the San Diego Zoo. The video was uploaded on April 23, 2005, and can still be viewed on the site.

It might not seem like much, but it started a worldwide cultural phenomenon and made its star – Jawed Karim – a multi-millionaire (he also co-founded the website).

In celebration of the billions of hours the world has wasted on YouTube in the past 10 years, here are some of the favourite viral vids you should watch.

Did we all remember the Sneezing Baby Panda?

I particularly love this next video, the Charlie Bit My Fingers brothers. LOL

The Star Wars Kid

LOL, the Keyboard Cat

You remember Fenton The Dog? Yeah right!

LOL, the idea of weddings changed.

And the most watched of all time with 2billion views and counting, Gangnam Style is still the most watched video.
