Gay singer Adam Lambert has opened up about his sexual past in an interview with Glamour UK.
The magazine had asked him if he ever found women attractive, and if he ever planned to sleep with one.
The If I Had You singer didn’t shy away from the blunt questioning and answered.
“I think women are beautiful — and I always notice when girls smell really good,” Lambert said. “Like most gay men, I’m drawn to really confident women.”
When asked if he’d ever sleep with a woman, Lambert said, “I have before. I did it for the first time when I was 29. It was kind of a random thing, but I was very curious… It felt great. It was a friend of mine and there was tequila involved and a full moon and then suddenly…”
Lambert also affirmed that there were plenty of gay people in Hollywood who pretended to be straight.
“Oh yeah,” Lambert replied. “I’ve been with a few of them. Whether it’s music or acting, you’ve got to remember that those industries are primarily run by men, so maybe it’s about that. But with women being the primary movie-goers and record-buyers, surely it shouldn’t matter so much?”
