#ThrowBackThursday! Our 5 Worst Dressed From 2014 African Magic Viewers Choice Awards

share on:

The annual African Magic Viewers choice awards is this weekend (7th March 2015)  and we are excited because this event is one of the most notable awards ceremony, some even call it the Nigerian Oscars.

Every red carpet event is a fashion test and while some pass in flying colors, others fail woefully. Last year some celebrities made a mark with their amazing outfit choices to one of the most notable awards ceremony but some others really didn’t make the cut. The outfits make you scream ‘What were they thinking?

The memories of the worst dressed from last year’s AMVCA still lingers on, it’s too sad and hard to forget. But we do hope that this year we won’t have to find any of  them on our list. See the worst dressed from the last edition

Mercy Johnson

All I could think of last year was the devil in disguise that styled Mercy Johnson in this awful, non-flattering outfit. Mercy has an curvaceous body and it will only be nice to see her in something really lovely. Sweetheart take note, we want you to surprise us by making the best dressed list.

Dear Aunty Bimbo, please take this year’s AMVCA more important because the only explanation we could come up with for last year’s outfit choice was you probably didn’t know how serious the event was. You certainly do need a stylist to help you through this year. Yours faithfully Super Fan.

I am particularly a huge fan of Mrs Doyle but this outfit is a BIG NO. For an event like AMVCA, this outfit does no justice.

Media personality Gbemi Olateru Olagbegi would have survived this list but for the upper part of this dress. It seemed like the breast part was a little bit too tight and uncomfortable, please try better this year with the look.

Beverly Naya didn’t look so good in this dress to Wana Sambo, it was unflattering for her body type and made her look bogus  so we advise that she tries out something more flattering  this year so as to avoid being on this list again.
