Flawless, teeth-baring Barcelona forward, Luis Suarez, has hit out at the British media again. It is well known that the relationship between the Uruguayan and the British media is frosty at best, cold to touch really.
The former Liverpool and Ajax man is not only known for his ability to score goals, but also for the ‘vampire traits’ he seems to possess. The urge to always want to sink his teeth into something has even made him more lethal.
He claims he was targeted by some publications in 2013 and expressed dissatisfaction at the coverage of his Giorgio Chiellini bite during the world cup.
Suggestions erupted that the Barcelona forward tried to sink his teeth into Martin Demichelis when Barcelona faced City in the Champions league last month. Suarez says he’s had enough and the British media has bitten off more than they can chew.
“I do not know whether the British press have something against me, but they do seem to miss me,” Suarez told BeIn Sports.
“They criticise me a lot and are always looking for things to attract attention. They published a picture of me supposedly biting Demichelis, but these images then disappeared when they realised it was fake…
“That was when I said it was enough and to leave me alone. It is tiresome, but they keep looking for something.”
Suarez has been in sublime form for Barcelona, scoring 13 goals in 26 appearances so far.
