Theophilus Danjuma Maintains Neutrality Ahead 2015 Elections

Former Minister for Defense, General Theophilus Danjuma has maintained his neutrality ahead of the 2015 elections.

Danjuma had made his stance known to reporters after a meeting with President Goodluck Jonathan.

After the meeting, when asked by journalists if he’ll be supporting President Jonathan’s campaign bid, Danjuma said, ”I don’t canvass (for votes). I am not in any of the political parties. The President is Nigeria’s President”.

On Why he was visiting the President, Danjuma said, ”Don’t speculate. I came to visit the President and find out how things are going. I have been abroad. I just came back”.
