Manager Louis van Gaal has revealed that he will not be taking any other jobs after Manchester United.

Van Gaal, 63, said he was getting old and wanted to spend more time with family.

He told the Daily Telegraph: “I am old. This is my last job. For sure.”

He added: “I have to pay attention to my kids, my grandchildren but also to my wife. They deserve it.

“Now I cannot pay that attention. I was not at the birthday of my grandson, for example. I don’t like it.”

Van Gaal said he planned to retire to Portugal with wife Truus and “play golf, eat fantastic food”.

Van Gaal has coached some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Ajax, in his career.
