8:48AM – Polling Unit 18/22/07/011 Zango Kataf, Kaduna; No INEC materials or officials in sight

9:05AM – Polling Unit 18/22/011 Kaduna experiences yet another Card Reader issue

9:06AM – Reports say General Muhammadu Buhari and wife, Aisha Buhari, have been accredited in Daura. Each took less than a minute to get over with.

9:10AM – In Esan Central, Edo State, there’s been no accreditation of voters yet at Polling Unit 009, ward 8.

9:25AM – Activities in Ward 11, Egbeda LGA of Oyo State in Ibadan are slow as INEC Officials and/ or materials are yet to arrive.

9:27AM – In Sapele LGA, Delta State, Polling Unit 6, Ward 5, there’s been no sign of INEC officials, nor materials.

9:38AM – In Somolu LGA, Lagos, Ward 12, Polling Unit 057 has an Immigration Officer and some INEC officials on ground.

9:46AM – President Jonathan Goodluck arrive Otuoke, Bayelsa State, alongside First Lady Dame Patience; and they experience slight glitch in accreditation. The President later speaks with newsmen and urges Nigerians to exercise patience with INEC over any delays, as they cast their votes.

9:50AM – Akure North, Polling Unit 008 is experiencing relative success so far. INEC officials are on ground and taking control of things.

9:55AM – No INEC official, security or election materials in ward K, Yaba/ Igbobi, Lagos State.

10:00AM – No signs of INEC Officials in Magodo/ GRA, just around Shayisha Polling Unit 050

10:00AM – The Card Reader not working at ward 3, Polling Unit 013, Umuahia South LGA.

10:00AM – Reports say INEC officials cannot operate Card Reader in Katsina LGA, Gabo II, Polling Unit 005.

10:01AM – There’s been no INEC official or security in sight at Polling Unit 12/08/05/003, Edo State. Neither have there been election materials.

10:03AM – Reports say election materials are just leaving for Ward 9, Ekeremor, Bayelsa State.

10:09AM – Citizens, INEC Officials and all around look for cover as WTC Primary school polling unit; 1, New Layout, Enugu, is hit by bomb explosion.

10:20AM – Governorship Candidate, Jimi Agbaje arrives voting centre in Apapa area of Lagos State. Gets accredited in no time.

10:27AM – Materials arrive Uyo. Successful accreditation has been recorded.

10:48AM – Citizens leave in anger as card readers refuse to work. Reports from Polling Unit 087, Ijegun Ward, Alimosho LGA, Lagos State, say.

10:31AM – Miscreants trying to impede the election process in Polling Unit 017, Ward 2, Oye LGA, Ekiti State.

10:47AM – Miscreants attack Arogbo area of Ese-Odo LGA, Ondo State, Wards 1 and 2.

10:50AM – No INEC official or material in Oshodi LGA, Unit 056, Ward 2.

10:51AM – In Ajelogun close to Kosofe LGA, Lagos State, No INEC official or security in sight.

10:54AM – Isheri, Magodo; still no INEC officials in sight. Nor materials and security, in spite of the people having come out in large numbers.

10:55AM – Fight breaks out as PDP and APC miscreants clash in Warri LGA, Ward 6, Delta State. No election currently taking place.

11:00AM – Fight earlier on at Adeleye area, Orile Iganmu in Lagos State between miscreants of the APC and PDP. Residents in the neighbourhood have been thrown into fear and instability which is affecting the election process.

11:25AM – Secret party agents try to sway voters in Kogi State Aiyetoro 1, Polling Units 1, 2, 3 and 4; Kogi State.

11:45AM – Mixed reactions trail the general INEC preparedness across geopolitical zones of Nigeria. More than 75% of the total assessed regions have experienced either delays or complete absence of INEC officials and security operatives.

12:00PM – Reports say there are no result sheets in Units 1-9 of Ward 10, Ikwerre LGA in Rivers State.

12:30PM – INEC officials resort to manual accreditation in GRA, Ikeja, Lagos in a bid to save the day. About 105 voters only have been accredited out of 800, quite a meager amount.

1:11PM – At Polling Unit 24/08/018, we hear only one Card Reader is functional. This is the situation at Admiralty Road, Lekki, Lagos.

1:14PM – Yet another case of the Card Reader not working in Otedola Estate, Omole Phase II, Ikeja, Lagos.

1:38PM – INEC officials arrive Anthony Village, Lagos.

1:50PM – Reports of APC-PDP clash lead to INEC officials leaving Polling Unit 9, Ward 17, Obio Akpor LGA, Rivers State. We can’t say if security operatives were on ground, but it doesn’t appear they were.

2:03PM – Reports say the PDP and APC have resorted to buying votes, as under-aged persons queue up to vote in Barawa, Katsina State at Polling Unit 20/02/07/003.

2:19PM – hacked INEC website returned to normal

2:19pm – Reports say President Jonathan has refused to put blames on INEC for electoral insufficiencies thus far.

2:21PM – Dame Patience Jonathan turns down appeals from journalists for an interview

2:33PM – Miscreants instructed by Commissioner seize ballot papers in Ibesikpo Asutan Wards 1 and 3, Akwa Ibom, State.

2:33PM – Shocking news as there are no ballot papers for Senate and House of Reps in entire Uyo LGA.

2:30PM – Elections on hold in Okekoto, Agege, Lagos at Polling Unit 24/10/07/017 owing to lack of security operatives.

2:55PM – Heavy rains yet the citizens are out trying to cast their votes in Iju-Ishaga, Lagos.

3:35PM – At the Polling Unit 036 in Gama Ward, Nasarawa LGA, Kano State, the party agents are seen as being too close to the voting cubicle.

3:35PM – Reports say thugs and INEC officials have joined forces in Ikono, LGA, Ward 3, Polling Unit 3 to thumb print on ballot papers.

3:37PM – 1, 100, 346 ballot papers distributed by INEC in Osun State, Nigeria.

3:44PM – In Ward 009, Police College Ikeja, counting of votes commence.

3:45PM – INEC officials refuse to reveal number of accredited voters at the Kakawa Ward, Polling Unit 012, Lagos Island.

4:08 – There are no security operatives in sight as miscreants disrupt voting activities completely at Ibesikpo Asuntan, in Polling Unit 03/12/10/008, Uyo, Akwa Ibom.

4:35PM – INEC Officially announces extension of voting till Sunday, March, 29th; in localities where Card Reader malfunctions have been reported.

4:38PM– In Ikere-Ekiti, a voter was shot earlier today and rushed to the General Hospital, Ado-Ekiti. Reports say he is responding to treatments.
