Kevin De Bruyne left Chelsea less than a year ago to join Wolfsburg and the Belgian has become one of the most sought after players in the world. More surprisingly though is the fact that Manchester United entered the race to sign him a few days ago and have emerged as the favorites to sign the 23 year old.
Manchester United manager, Louis Van Gaal is reported to be keen on landing the former Chelsea starlet who he believes would be an excellent addition to his already impressive attacking midfield outlay which consists of Juan Mata and Angel Di Maria. Manchester United might be inclined to sell Di Maria in the summer and Van Gaal views De Bruyne as a perfect replacement. Manchester United are reportedly set to be preparing a 40 million euro bid for the Bundesliga star and that might be enough to bring Wolfsburg to the negotiation table.
Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are all reported to be interested in De Bruyne despite none of the other clubs making formal approaches. De Bruyne might not be in Wolfsburg for much longer.
