Manchester City To Replace Pellegrini With Benitez

Manuel Pellegrini’s Manchester Future is seriously in doubt as Manchester City are six points behind Chelsea in the Premier league and are set to travel to Camp Nou already behind in the tie in the Champions league.

Manuel Pellegrini’s faith may have been sealed with Manchester City’s 1-0 loss to Burnley at the weekend and sources from the Etihad are suggesting that Manchester City are already lining up a replacement for the Chilean. Rafael Benitez, a UEFA champions league winner with Liverpool, Europa League winner with Valencia And Chelsea and an FA cup winner with Liverpool and Chelsea is the man being tipped to take over from Pellegrini.Benitez is currently in charge of Napoli where he has lead them to a coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italia win. Benitez has knowledge of the Premier league from his time at Liverpool and Chelsea and Manchester City feel he can bring the much needed balance in their team.

Manchester City currently sit second in the premier league and would be preparing for the second leg of their champions league clash with FC Barcelona
