Major League Soccer Players On The Verge Of Strike Action Two Day To The Start Of The Season

share on:

MLS players are on the verge of strike action just two days before the beginning of the season.

Discussions over a new collective contract have hit a brick wall between the league and the players’ union.

There was a similar dispute in 2010, although that was resolved with five days to go.

The first game of the Major League Soccer 2015 season is scheduled to kick off on Friday evening (Saturday, 03:00 GMT) between 2014 champions Los Angeles Galaxy and Chicago Fire.
