All said and done, Madonna actually caused her epic BRITS awards fall all by herself.
Having suffered a very humiliating tumble at the awards show, Madonna has been seen to be taking things easy.
But while she tries to put her BRITs fall behind her, which occurred when her dancers pulled on the Armani-designed cape she was wearing, unwittingly dragging her down some steps, the designer Giorgio Armani said it was all Madonna’s own fault.
‘This cape had a hook and she wanted a tie, and she wasn’t able to open it with her hands. That’s all there is to it. ‘Madonna, as we all know, is very difficult,’ he said.
Need you all be reminded that Giorgio was the designer of the ensemble that got Madonna tumbling as she made this known after the fall.
Madonna later explained in a particular chatshow, ‘Everybody was worried that my cape was going to slide off because it’s quite heavy, so they tied it really tight around my neck,’ she said. ‘So here I am marching in like a queen, and I got to the top of the stairs and I pulled my silky string, and it would not come undone. And my two lovely Japanese dancers basically strangled me off the stage. I had a choice: I could either be strangled or fall with the cape, and I fell.’
Although great friends with Madonna, Giorgio Armani wouldn’t spare the rod as he lashed out on the musician insisting she ignored his directions on how to tie the cape he designed.
