The Bolivian Football Federation have announced their decision not to play the super eagles on the 26th of March 2015 as earlier agreed by both countries, citing the insecurity of the country around election period as their reason for deciding against playing the match.
NFF and the Bolivian Football Federation had initially agreed to play the match after the Bolivian head coach Mauricio Soria called for the game to be canceled. Today however, in a press conference, the FBF president, Carlos Chavez announced the decision not to play in the match “The armed conflict in Nigeria has forced the cancellation of the game,” said Carlos Chavez, in a press conference in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. The FBF are currently looking for ways to pull out of the match without facing the consequences of breaching a contract.
Nigeira’s elections come up on the 28th of March and the Super Eagles would travel to South Africa on the 29th of March to Play South Africa
