Former Blues defender, David Luiz, who was sold last June to Ligue 1 giants, PSG, has admonished José Mourinho to not come into tomorrow’s match with a defensive mindset.
The defender who was sold for a record fee and is presently the most expensive defender in the world, will be making his first trip back to his former club since he was sold.
Chelsea welcome PSG on Wednesday for the second leg of the round of 16, the first leg ended in a 1-1 draw at France, which is in favour of Chelsea due to the away goal rule.
Tactical genius Mourinho has been caught in situations like this before and his former man, Luiz, believes he will come in defensively and try to catch PSG on the counter.
“I know how Jose will prepare for this; he will be telling the boys to be patient and hit us on the counterattack,” David Luiz told the Daily Mirror.
“He knows that we need to score and that they don’t. I know that is his way. We must be careful because I know that Chelsea have the ability to hurt on the counterattack but they must be careful as well.
