Chelsea Set To Let Phillipe Luis Go

share on:

Phillipe Luis has failed to make any sort of impact at Chelsea since his 16 million euro move to London from Atletico Madrid and Chelsea are reportedly set to cut their losses and let the Brazilian go.

While his teammate Deigo Costa who also joined Chelsea from Atletico Madrid and has gone on to set the Premier League alight, Phillipe Luis has failed to really impress in his appearances for Chelsea and he has been unable to break into the Chelsea squad as Azpilicuetta has done a good job keeping him out this season. Mourinho who has been unimpressed with Luiz is reportedly set to listen to offers for the Brazilian as Sevilla and Benfica are said to be interested in his signature. Atletico are also said to be interested in bringing Luis back as he was an integral part of their La liga winning side and Simeone feels he can bring the best out of the Brazilian.

Chelsea might be more interested in a loan deal for Luiz but if they get the right offer, they would be willing to sell and Luis on his part is said to be open to a move away fro Stamford Bridge to get some first team football.
