Barcelona put together a stunning display to dispatch 10-man Villareal 3-1 despite an injury to Busquets putting a sour taste to the victory, Barcelona would be happy with the match in general.

Busquets was taken off the pitch and would not be able to continue. Barcelona came out of the traps flying in the second half but did not take any chance and in the 63rd minute, Pina again lunged into a robust challenge on a Barcelona player, this time, Neymar was on the receiving end, Pina was shown a straight red and Neymar continued the match and in the 73rd minute, Barcelona made their numerical advantage count. Suarez finished a Barcelona move in style, Going round Asenjo before tapping the ball into the net. Barcelona continued to dominate and in the 88th minute, Neymar was allowed a free header and the Brazilian made it 3-1 to Barcelona on the night and 6-2 on aggregate.
Barcelona would not be gearing up for their clashes with Real Madrid and Manchester City in coming weeks as they keep their hunt for the treble alive
