‘American Sniper’ Takes Out ‘Hunger Games: Mockingjay’ To Become Highest-Selling Film of 2014

Warner Bros’ American Sniper became the highest-selling 2014 release after it overtook The Hunger Games: Mockingjay over the past weekend.

American Sniper, starring Oscar Best Actor nominee Bradley Cooper, is now Warners’ fourth-highest-grossing film ever with an estimated $337,209,000 after making an estimated $4.1M over the weekend.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay  has earned $336,961,655 since its November 21 release, and is now in second place.
