James Harden put on a show for the ages as he scored a career-high 50 points in the Houston Rockets’ 118 – 108 win over the Denver Nuggets.
Alongside his 50 points, The Beard also gobbled up 10 rebounds, and completed his stat line with 4 assists and 1 steal.
The last Houston Rocket to score 50 points in a game was Hakeem Olajuwon, and he was in the crowd alongside Portland great Clyde Drexler.
“That’s a special group right there,” Harden said. “We’re trying to build something special like they did, (and) to play a game in front of them was definitely an honor.”
