Amaechi Threatens To Sue Fani-Kayode, Fayose’s Aide For N1.25bn

As many polling units in the country round up counting for the presidential elections, Rivers state governor Rotimi Amaechi was prevented from going round the state to inspect various centres.

According to Channels television, Amaechi was stopped by Brigade Commander of the second Brigade, Bori Camp, Essien Essien, who didn’t buy Amaechi’s reason of going out to confirm if results sheets were available at all units.

Against the advice of the Brigade Commander to remain at his polling centre, the governor challenged the Army Officer to arrest him as he drove back to the government house after his accreditation.

  1. The brigadier is done bad thing. All military should stay at barrack why distop the peace. Very bad for the brigadier to do so. He must charge for it and face the trial. He using to rig all river poll.

  2. He should not have been moving around, he is not above the law. GMB voted and went hOme. GEJ voted and went home. The law restricts movement for all but essential services and definitely not a Governor with an interest in outcome/
