Late last year, Kiss Daniel’s Afro pop single, “Woju”, filled the air and caught our eyes for a host of reasons. And to crown his 2014 success and register his presence in this new year, the G-Worldwide singer puts together a decent visual effort to the remix of the hit song, with Davido and Tiwa Savage therein.
Shot and directed in Lagos by the famous Adasa Cookey –as was the original version– it is billed to drop sometime in March and we can comfortably say it will be just as much a smash as the audio itself.
Daniel wrote the sizzling “Woju” around 3 years ago, and said this of it: “It is not my first song. I wrote it three years ago when I was in school, but recorded it a few months ago.” In spite of the fact of him writing it that long ago, it still connects with the teeming fans today owing to its creativity and radio-readiness. He says it was inspired by some of the good songs he listened to, quite the stunner effort we must add.
On the audio cut of the remix to “Woju”, there is just Davido, as evident in their studio session. On the recently shot video however, there is Davido as well as Tiwa Savage, which means some real super star presence on the already widely-acclaimed hit. We can’t wait for the full video to drop. Rest assured that we will be serving it hot here as soon as it hits the air.
Meanwhile, here’s a little something from the recent shoot. Enjoy!
