Recent rumours has suggested that the Lumia 635, which came as a dual phone in Nigeria was in line for hardware upgrade.
It should be noted that the biggest limitations to the Lumia 635 was it’s 512MB RAM, meaning some apps just won’t install.
Pictures of the newer 1GB version have started appearing across the web, but now it appears that the phone has been made official by Microsoft after it showed up on thier own website.
The listing for the Lumia 635 on Microsoft.com now lists 512MB or 1GB as the RAM for the phone, with a note that it’s region dependant. Without mentioning which regions those may be.
Mobile World Congress will be happening next week in Barcelona and we’ll find out more about this new device
