A Bionuclear engineering student who was arrested for sexually assaulting a fellow student allegedly claimed he was re-enacting scenes from the Fifty Shades of Grey film. Independent report.
Mohammad Hossain used belts to restrain his alleged victim during the attack on Saturday, the Chicago Tribune reports.
According to reports, Hossain took the woman back to his dormitory room and told her to strip for him. He then bound her legs and hands to a bed before attacking her.
The Assistant State’s Attorney Sarah Karr was reported as saying, ‘he hit her several times’.
The woman reportedly responded by telling him to stop and “began shaking her head and crying”, to which he hit her repeatedly with a belt and his fists. Hossain then allegedly sexually assaulted her.
When his roommate arrived and attempted to open the door, Hossain held it back. His alleged victim was eventually allowed to leave upon which she contacted the police.
He reportedly told police he and the woman were re-enacting a scenes from the Fifty Shades film.
The case is now in court.
