Real Madrid Get Season Back On track, Beat Deportivo 2-0

share on:

Real Madrid put the 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Atletico Madrid and the Cristiano Ronaldo party fiasco all behind them as they beat Deportivo 2-0 as they continue their march towards the La Liga trophy.

Ronaldo and Bale struck the post early in the game as Real Madrid were the livelier of the two sides and on 22 minutes, Arbeloa cut the ball back after Bale’s cross was missed by everyone to Isco who had no problem tapping the ball home to make it one nil. Madrid controlled the game but could only finally double their lead in the 73rd minute as Ronaldo slipped Benzema through before the Frenchman dinked the ball over the onrushing goalkeeper to make it 2-0

Real Madrid would now have their attention turned to their champions league clash next week.
