PSG Blow Yet Another Two Goal Lead, Draw 2-2 With Caen

Paris Saint Germain have been accused of playing to lackadaisically at the back on more than one occasion this season and tonight, they did themselves no favors as they threw away a two goal lead in the closing three minutes of a Ligue 1 match against Caen.

Paris Saint Germain controlled the entire first half despite losing Cabaye in the first half and the Paris club took the lead in the in the second minute as Aurier cross was met by Ibrahimovic who sent the ball home. It took 38 minutes for PSG to score another goal as Lucas ran into the box in the 40th minute before setting up Lavezzi to make it 2-0. PSG were in cruise control all through the second half despite losing Aurier, Marquinhos and Lucas to injuries losing the last two after making all their three substitutions. Reduced to nine men, PSG conceded in the 89th minute as Sala bundled a free kick home before Caen piled up the pressure and equalized in the 92nd minute as Bazile fired in a free kick after Ibrahimovic brought down Benezet just outside the box.

PSG still remain one point behind Lyon in the race for this season’s Ligue 1 even as they prepare for their champions league clash with Chlesea.
