Report has it yesterday that the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate left Abuja for London to visit key members of the Royal Institute of International Affair, Chatham House.

However, Naij publication discloses that what should have been an ordinary event, generated many allegations amid rumours about his poor health. Thus, leading curios Nigerians to suspect the real reason behind the 72-year-old’s trip to UK.

Firm supporters of the former military head of state simply wished the politician a safe trip adding that soon he will be back to Nigeria to change the course of the nation’s history.

While, Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose, hinted on the real reasons why Buhari took to the secret trip and further accused the APC of hiding the truth about his health for their selfish gains.

According to a message posted on his Facebook page, the governor alleged that Buhari’s final destination was USA where he should receive medical treatment.

The statement issued read:

“The truth is that Buhari travelled out today to seek medicare in USA.

“If the APC people are saying otherwise, let them publish the picture of Buhari boarding the plane and granting interview to Aviation Correspondents at the Abuja Airport.

“While I am happy that the APC people that are packaging Buhari finally hearkened to my plea that they should allow him (Buhari) to seek medicare abroad, I must say that it was evil for the APC to have lied that Buhari travelled on a working visit.

“These APC political merchants should say the truth and save Nigeria from the possibility of another Yar’Adua experience.

“They should tell Nigerians that Buhari is actually sick and lack capacity to rule Nigeria and that they are only packaging him, hoping that he will become incapacitated if he becomes president so that they can take over power by proxy.
