NFF Did Not Approach Me: Keshi

share on:

Super Eagles manager, Stephen Keshi has come out to state that he was never approached by the Nigerian Football Federation with a contract offer to take charge of the National team.

Stephen Keshi was reportedly relieved of his duties as manager and Amokachi took over as interim boss. Keshi was later ratified by the ad hoc committee set up by the NFF to interview for a new team manager and NFF on Tuesday claimed that the “Big Boss” had been approached and offered a contract but the former Togo and Mali manager on Wednesday spoke to  journalists and told them that he had not heard from NFF or any of their representatives.

Nigeria are still on the hunt for a manager and Stephen Keshi is still very much in the mix.
