Stretch marks or striae (singular stria), as they are called in dermatology, are a form of scarring on the skin with an off-color hue, it is caused a s a result of overly rapid gaining or shedding of weight, rapid growth, stress and changes in physical condition.

It is often found on the stomach, but sometimes can be found on the thighs, upper arms, feet, back, buttocks and even on the breasts. It is safe to say stretch marks are the worst nightmare of every female, although men have stretch marks too.

Here are 3 tested and proven home remedies to those stretch marks.

1)Egg Whites

For stretch marks, you want to use only the egg whites.

-First clean the affected skin area with water

-Whip the whites of two eggs in a clean bowl

-Apply a thick layer of the egg whites on the affected area, allow to dry completely

-Then rinse off with cold water

-Moisturize after rinsing with pure olive oil

Repeat the process daily for at least 2 weeks.

2)Lemon & Cucumber JuiceSM1

-Clean the affected area with water

-Mix equal quantities of cucumber and lemon juice

-Apply on the affected area, leave to dry for about 10minutes

-Wash off with lukewarm water

-Apply shea butter/ pure olive oil to moisturize the surface

Another alternative is to apply just lemon juice, wash off and then moisturize

3)Potato JuiceSM2

-Clean the affected area with water

-You should wear gloves so your hands don’t itch from handling the potatoes

-Cut the potato into large slices

-Rub the open part of the potato on the affected area

-Leave to dry for about 15minutes

-Rinse off with lukewarm water and moisturize with shea butter

Most importantly, ensure you visit a dermatologist. Also increase your water, fruits and vegetables intake.
