Five Killed In Bank Robbery In Ekiti

Over four people have been reportedly killed, one of which involves a student of the Federal Polytechnic, following a robbery attack in First Bank, Ekiti state.

The culprits were said to have carted away with a huge sums of money.

This was coming just after a robbery incident was reported to have embarked and which involved the damage of three vehicles in the convoy of the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Benue State, Dr Samuel Ortom.

Ortom, who at the funeral of the late Dr Samson Sambe, the President of Independent Publishers in the state, was giving a funeral speech when sporadic gunshots were heard and sympathisers started scampering for safety.

He was later informed that his vehicles had been the target of the operation.
