share on:

Reports reaching us from the opinion page of the Punch publication discloses the alleged illegitimate conduct of some of the supervisors of West African School Certificate Examination or National Examination Council in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

According to the report, students who are preparing to write the WASSCE or NECO exams are requested to pay amounts between N1000 and N2000, before submission of their scripts.

The fee which is usually paid to the supervisors via the Examining body is now being required by the supervisors from the students.

The candidates further urged the authorities to look into the abnormality at earliest convenience so as to prevent students from avoidable failure.
