The Nigerian Military has been battling insurgency in the country for the past five years.
There have been so many factors militating against the effective combat of terrorism in Nigeria but the troops have continued to sacrifice their lives to make sure the country remains together.
The #MarchForOurTroops initiative was born out of youthful passion for the country and the Army’s commitment to keeping us safe.
This is a non political movement aimed at showing support for the Nigerian Army, appreciating and recognising their efforts against terrorism in form of the Boko Haram sect and also to raise donations for the family members of slain soldiers.
The march will take place on the 28th of February. People are to gather at Tafawa Balewa square on said day and also bring donations in form of food items which include bags of rice, beverages like cartons of milo, milk, household equipments etc which will be given to the families of the soldiers who have passed away.
