Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau has released a new video where he vowed to disrupt the forthcoming general elections. The video was released via a Twitter account where Shekau vowed in Hausa that the elections will not hold.

Also, for the first time Shekau spoke with a bit of uncertainty as he declared that even if he and his members are dead, Allah would not allow the elections to hold.
This is a departure for the usually boisterous and gloating leader who was cocksure of his group’s immortality, but as the military asked INEC to postpone the elections so they could finish up a military operation to wipe Boko Haram, they have recorded huge successes.
“This election will not be held even if we are dead. Even if we are not alive Allah will never allow you to do it,” Shekau said in the Hausa language.
In the video, Shekau said that last weekends attack on Dandikowa village in Gombe state was never repelled by the Nigerian military and that his men overran the troops and freed some of his members who were imprisoned.
