Former Tottenham manager, Tim Sherwood has been handed the task of pulling Aston Villa out of the relegation zone and salvaging an awry season.
Tim Sherwood managed Tottenham until the end of last season after replacing Villas Boas. Sherwood was subsequently fired at the end of the season despit ensuring the club’s participation in this season’s Europa league competition. Sherwood has been unemployed since June and now takes on a very tasking job. Sherwood who told reporters he is very happy to be taking the Aston Villa job, takes on a club that has had a terrible season, lacking creativity and confidence but Sherwood is confident he can turn things around.
We wish Sherwood the best but the job ahead would not be easy as the relegation battle is not one any manager wants to head into, especially not in the premiership.
