Very Patriotic! Miss Universe Contestants Slip Into Their National Costumes

The contestants have graced the stage in various outfits from swim wear to evening dresses but for the first time since the beginning of the competition, each contestants ditched their bikinis to embrace their National costume.

Each of the ladies wore an outfit that represents where they come from and a key element of their culture. This round was one of the most jaw-dropping segment in the competition. With the grand finale just around the corner (Sunday, January 25th 2015) , the contestants did their bit to impress the audience.

While some were able to represent their home country in the simplest ways ever, others left the audience confused with their very elaborate outfits. Check out contestants in their National costumes below!

  1. miss Korea’s outfit does not look Weird, apart from the material in which all the nations competing flags are printed on. she is wearing a typical traditional Korean outfit called chuseok.
