Super Eagles Begin Training In Abu Dhabi

Despite failing to qualify for the 2015 African Cup Of Nations, the super eagles of Nigeria arrived their training camp with pomp and swagger ahead of their two friendly matches against the Ivory Coast and Sudan.

The Suoer eagles started arriving on Thursday and were camped at the Crown Plaza hotel in Abu Dhabi. The players had their first training session on Friday morning and were supervised by head coach Stephen Keshi. Nigeria would play Ivory Coast first before locking horns with Sudan as both countries prepare for the AFCON.

Twenty players are currently in camp for both friendlies. They are:

Goalkeepers: Chigozie Agbim (Gombe United); Daniel Akpeyi (Warri Wolves); Theophilus Afelokhai (Kano Pillars)

Defenders: Solomon Kwambe (Sunshine Stars); Idris Aloma (El-Kanemi FC); Chimma Akas (Sharks FC); Nelson Ogbonna (Heartland FC); Azubuike Egwuekwe (Warri Wolves); Bright Esieme (Enyimba FC

 Midfielders: Joseph Nathaniel (Sharks FC); Charles Henlong (Giwa FC); Stanley Dimgba (Warri Wolves); Rabiu Ali (Kano Pillars); Kingsley Sokari (Enyimba FC); Austin Godspower, Steven Ukoh (FC Biel, Swizerland)

Forwards: Mfon Udoh (Enyimba FC); Gbolahan Salami (Warri Wolves);Gambo Muhammad (Kano Pillars); Christian Obiozor (Enugu Rangers).
