Montella: I’ll Quit If Cuadrado Leaves

share on:

Chelsea have been on the trail of Juan Cuadrado for a while and with both teams seemingly at a conclusion, Fiorentina manager, Vincenzo Montella may present a final stumbling block.

Montella has told the Fiorentina board that he would quit his role as manager of the Florence club if his talisman is sold to the London giants this January. Montella claimed he had yet to put a plan to replace the winger in motion and felt he was back-doored by the transfer deal and stated that he would resign if Cuadrado left.

Chelsea have reportedly agreed a deal for Cuadrado and now, FIorentina have to consider whether losing their manager and key player for 23 million euros would be worth it
