British model Jourdan Dunn has a success story of working with brands like Marc Jacobs, Balmain, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Maybeline and a host of others, she has yet created another success story as she lands a solo cover for Vogue UK magazine.
This is indeed a feat because in the last 13 years, no black model has gone solo on the covers of Vogue UK magazine. However, model Jourdan Dunn has since broken that records as the first black model to land a solo cover for the magazine. Naomi Campbell was Vogue UK’s last black solo cover girl and that was in 2002.
The February 2015 cover shows the gorgeous model wearing a pale yellow and orange Prada dress while rocking her short bobbed hair. Dunn was styled by Kate Phelan and photographed by Patrick Demarchelier for the shoot. This issue of Vogue UK magazine will be out on Friday.
